Birthday wishes do come true....

.....oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh, Barack Obama! That is all I am saying!
I am back, just like " Millionaire Life is back!" It was a great week, and very profound to be shooting a "Millionaire" commercial on my 30th birthday after the first African American/Hawaiin ( spelling?) President was elected!
I warn all of you in Canada that will see the commercial, that this could be the most obnoxious year yet! The title for this years commercial is "Parachuting men"- all I'm sayin'. I had so much fun in the photo shoot where the photographer Tom Feiler and I whispered to each other about donkeys and other ridiculous things, trying to get that perfect millionaire shot!
Coming home on the plane from a great week spent seeing family and friends, I heard some people talking, and asking "is this your home? ...I live here....It feels good to be home".
And I was thinking to myself, I don't know if I am home, or coming home, but I know that my home is here; Daniel Lynn. It was a beautiful sight after such a fun, exhausting, way- too- much- wine- drinking, week to see the face of my husband waiting for me at the airport. I wish everyone such happiness!
Coming back was harder than expected, I was sent into the 'other room' at customs and had my FINGER PRINTS taken! Yep.
I felt good, I was chanting daimoku in my heart and when they asked me to wait I opened up a speech from President Ikeda and sat reading and felt inspired and certain of my mission as a storyteller in Los Angeles. But gosh, no matter how good you feel your body doesn't lie, I felt so flushed and I soooo wanted to say is it dry in here or what!? But thought against it.
After the customs officer let me through, once I explained my situation, I began to have doubt about myself. I began to feel the fear creep up. The voice saying this is never going to work, no one is going to want to represent a Canadian without papers to work. No one is going to want to get those for you, what do you think you are doing? Maybe this is Dan's time, and I am just here to support him? Maybe I will never get to fulfill my dreams?!
And so it is to these voices that I am on a new campaign! I will defeat my doubts and prove once again that the impossible is possible. I will use President Ikeda, who was told by doctors he would not live past the age of 30, who is now over 80 years old, and still fighting for world peace, and I will use the President- Elect who has inspired millions to stand up and declare "YES WE CAN", as examples of hope when I am feeling down or uncertain. I will remember my cousin Gilly saying "I am reading, inspire me, stay true to yourself", and other family members and friends that are reading our Blogs and supporting us behind the scenes, when I think I am alone on this journey. And I will win! I will find great representation, and I will be working very soon. Until then, I am so appreciative to the border people who put a new fire under my *ss to take action, and I am so appreciative to the 'gig that keeps giving'- Millionaire Life- that is making it possible to stay here, and take class, and find the right people to work with.
I am a MILIONAIRE!!!!!!
Nam myoho renge kyo,
Adrianne
