Murder in Green Meadows

The postcards are in for our play! We had a successful fundraiser on Friday night, where we all dressed in 40's and 50's and we danced to oldies and it was so much fun. I sang 2 of my songs, and it felt so good to share. I was so nervous, and my fingers hurt from not playing in MONTHS but it was great, and really well received. A friend of the director's approached me after and said, gesturing to his pregnant wife, that he wants his son to grow up listening to my music, and is thinking of ways to get me on this show that he is producing. It's so great to focus on the work and create value and then have lovely opportunities with cool people arise. I love the possibility! I am working a lot at the theatre now, as we are finally in, and building and painting the set. It's exciting and I am nervous! Ahhh! I know it's all going to come together and I am reminding myself to just have fun! On the way home last night, the stage manager for our play said that she has been meeting with a great agent that her friend recommended and that she would  like to pay that forward and help me out. And I told my friend who comes over every morning to chant, about this this morning, and she said that's my agent! That's the one I was telling you last week that when you have your visa you should give me your stuff and I'll give to her.
My friend called her agent right then, and recommended me and said that I will be dropping off a package and that she should check out my play... so we still don't have a car, which my friend remembered and said that she would take it by today to her agency! I feel so protected and so taken care of. I am so happy that we bit the bullet and moved here and followed our dreams and believed in them in spite of our fears ad doubts! Dan is doing great too, he is getting ready to shoot again the 12 and 13th of February on a commercial, and the webisodes that he shot a couple of weeks ago are edited and look AMAZING! I am so proud of him. It's an exciting time.
