Happy American Thanksgiving! What is going on in India? We bought a stolen car!

Happy American Thanksgiving, I am appreciative of my life, and that it is not threatened right now, like those in India. We really need to spread love love love, my goodness!
Well, the Universe works in mysterious ways, as you all know we were concerned about rent and where it was going to come from....Dan received a call yesterday from a guy saying that we had his car, that we had bought a stolen car, and not to drive it around or we'd get arrested!!!!?????? What? So short story, we called Bob who we had bought it from and told him we were uncomfortable with all of this and that we wanted our money back...and he gave it to us, in cash an hour later! Soooo protected, sooo appreciative. And we are both very relieved to not have that car anymore. I wasn't ready for a mini van, and we were both thinking this is a temporary car. But I found myself all of the time, thinking as I'm driving it, this is a temporary car, this is a temporary car...and feeling bad that we were driving such a big car that was sending out so much pollution. Well, thank you universe for listening and taking it away and replacing it with rent money, and now we get to find another car that we are both going to really be in love with! I look forward to reporting to you about that soon!
I really appreciated that hike we took, and look forward to going out more often. It was so related to the whole experience here, an uphill climb-finding strength in the struggle, to get half way and find the beauty of the view- I teased Dan, look at that after all of the challenges on this trail, mental and physical, I will have Hollywood in the palm of my hand, to continue even further, and just when I thought I had had enough, climbing that one last leg and viewing the Observatory-realizing the beauty of the Universe and that we are full of boundless possibility and potential.
The shoot was good, one of the most uncomfortable things I've done, and yet so perfect for the  movie- in the movie, I come home, and had to find a kitchen dressed with a romantic dinner that was already eaten, continue on to a bedroom where I find underwear that's not mine, and a framed picture of Dan and someone else...and I did not want to go there!!!!! However that was perfect for the situation- you wouldn't want to go there, or believe it! So it was a struggle with myself, to not judge myself, and to just trust everything that I was feeling. PLUS we could only do one takes because we were shooting on film, and there is no editing for this project, so presssssure! At the end of the film, I realize it was all a bad dream, and I got to wake up, look to my  right and have Dan there in bed sleeping, and that was probably the best part of the film, because I was so relieved by that point! So I think in the end, I went on the journey, I told the story the best that I could, I continue to learn more every time I get a chance to play, and it's given me a look into what it must feel like to have the pressure of a movie on your shoulders! Nothing is wasted!
I then had a read thru of the play that I will be doing in February. It's called Murder in Green Meadows, and we open Friday the 13th!!!!! Yes!!! I am really looking forward to it and the opportunity it will give me to invite people to see my work. It's a really great play and the cast is awesome and the director has some really fun ideas! It feels so good to be working on something!
Ballet rocks! I love the teacher and the vibe of the class, and I can slowly but surely feel myself getting in "shape"(getting back to the technique and mastery of it).
I am really enjoying all of the SGI activities, Dan and I have been really involved, and we are giving our wedding experience at a meeting on Dec. 16th, the same day a friend who I have introduced to the practice will receive her Gohonzon. The profound thing, is that it is because of her that I met Dan, and here we will be giving the experience of our life together. So beautiful!
I was "kicked out" of the Network Studio- that place that I told you, I "auditioned" for and took workshops at? I signed up for a 3 week intensive with a Casting Director, but then cancelled the next day due to realizing I just couldn't afford it right now, plus I was going to be shooting Millionaire Life in Toronto the first week. I hadn't paid yet, and I thought it was a 48 hour cancellation, and I cancelled a good week and a half before. But apparently you can't cancel intensives, even though in the guidelines it says no cancellations after you've paid... oh well, I met these actors, and a Producer that is really cool, and got an idea of what a "Boutique Agency" is, so I don't feel bad not being able to attend the workshops anymore. I filmed a short that I wrote with some of these actors that I met, that just want to create and keep working and learning, last week. It was a really short film and I directed it and held the cameras- we had two little Canon cameras. It was really great, I had so much fun, and we are looking forward to editing it, and shooting another one soon.
What else, we went to Malibu again, and I saw Alanis Morrisette! And I have to say, I froze up, it was the weirdest thing. First of all, she looks exactly like you see her, and she is just so beautiful, and tiny and real, and I think it's crazy how fast you can recognize someone you don't even know!
Dan and I are getting ready to go to a friend from AFI named Dave's house for Thanksgiving dinner. There will be 3 couples there. Pawel, who we stayed with when we first got here, and his girlfriend too!
I am so appreciative of all of you that take the time to read our lengthy blogs, much love,
Adrianne
